    Start of the Haitian Revolution
    The revolution began in August 1791 when the enslaved Africans from Haiti revolted against their slave masters. A leader emerged Toussaint L'Ouverture a former slave, rose up and freed all the slaves of the island. After Toussaints death his lieutenant Jean-Jacques Dessalines oe up and declared the country independent. It began because the creoles in Haiti felt oppressed and wanted to be the same as the French. The social class that fought in the Haitian war was Slaves and creoles

    The Haitian Revolution ended after the Haitians declared themselves independent from France. The revolution was successful because it's overall purpose was for the freedom of African Slaves in their Island of Haiti. It was also the first colony to free itself from the french control and was the first of many.

    The revolution began when Miguel Hidalgo a priest issued a call for a rebellion against the Spanish. The next day he gathered an army of around 80 thousand people. The army defeated Hidalgo but another leader emerged Jose Maria Morelo. But he was also defeated
    By a man called Agustin de iturbide. Later he proclaimed independence in 1821.

    Led by Simon Bolivar and Jose de san Martin. It was led by the encomienda class the Mestizos. The revolution began because neighboring countries were over Spanish rule still and had nothing to do about it. When Simon Bolivar and Jose de Martin met and came to an agreement to combine forces to fight against the Spanish. Jose de Martin left his army to the hands of Simon Bolivar. This revolution was fought by the Mestizo social class.

    Led by Dom Pedro and King John .The revolution began when Napoleon went to close the ports of Spain and Portugal. King fJohn planned to make Brazil a colony again but the others would not let him. Pedro then started a petition to make him ruler and on September 17, 1822 he declared the independence of Brazil

    The revolution was successful but not by the two leader. The two leaders Jose Mario Morelos and Miguel Hidalgo both were defeated and the one who defeated Jose Morelos was Agustin De iturbide who ended up proclaiming independence in 1821. But then he was later overthrown because he did not recognize the declaration of Independence from other countries. They declared independence from Spain. This revolution was fought by the Mestizos and Indians.

    The revolution was successful because it declared independence after Pedro was appointed ruler by the people. They won a bloodless revolutionary war and then declared independence from Portugal.
