    Bastille was a prison where enemies of the crown were executed. The people stormed Bastille for gun powder. They took apart Bastille brick by brick as a statement that the French government was coming down.

    The Declaration of Rights of Man and Citizens was a manifesto saying that the people of France should have a constitutional monarchy, equal rights, freedom of press, justice, and reasonable laws.

    The legislative branch split into three groups. The Conservatives was the First Estate who liked the Old Regime and was threatened by the Declaration. The Radicals were the Bourgeoisie who wanted complete reformation. The Moderates were the peasants who wanted a constitutional monarchy.

    In a meeting with Robespierre he announced that he had a list of traitors but wouldn't say who was on it, he was then arrested. He tried committing suicide but it didn't work and he was beheaded, ending the Revolution.
