An assembly of the three estates to decide whether or not to approve imposing taxes on the upper class. -
Vote to Establish the National Assembly
Voted to establish the National Assembly, which is the Third Estate who made themselves the ones to pass all laws and in effect of this event, proclaiming the end of monarchy. -
Tennis Court Oath
The people broke down a indoor tennis court door and pledged to stay in the tennis court until a new constitution was established. -
Mob Invades Prison
Angry invaders killed the prison commander and most of the guards then did a parade on the streets with dead mans' heads on pikes. Basically, showing that they won. -
The Great Fear
A wave of panic for the years to come raced across the whole area. Leading to rebellious events. -
Women Riot
Women rioted for their rights and the rising price of bread by breaking into the palace and killing some of the guards. Then, they demanded for King Louis and Marie Antionette to be killed. -
King Louis XVI Death
He got beheaded after the women rioted and demanded him to die. Marie Antoinette met the same fate exactly nine months later.
