  • May 5th, 1789 Meeting with Estates General

    The heads of each estate of France met to discuss issues in their lives. Because nothing was accomplished, the third estate left the government to make their own government.
  • Tennis Court Oath

    The Third Estate took a vow to "not separate, and to reassemble wherever circumstances require, until the Constitution of the kingdom is established. This forced a new constitution on the King.
  • Storming of the Bastille

    A state prison was attacked by an angry mob, the main reason was not to let the prisoners to escape but for guns and ammunition.
  • Declaration of the Rights of Men

    It was served as a preamble to the French Constitution of 1791. It was to make all men equal and remain free and equal in rights. Which were the rights of liberty, private property, the inviolability of the person, and resistance of oppression.
  • Womens March of Versailles

    The women were concerned by the high price and scarcity of bread so they forced the royal court and family to move from the traditional seat of government in Versailles to Paris.

    He was executed for treason and many thought he was not a good king cause he wasn't changing anything with the french revolution happening as well.

    The reign of terror was a period where many first, second, and third estate members were targeted and executed. As a result paranoia and mistrust spread across the people of France.
  • Maximilien Robespierre's Execution

    He was the leader for a year and many of the revolutinaries had had enough so they turned on him.
  • Napoleonic Code was Established

    It was a judicial body mandated to adjudicate claims against the State and assist in the drafting of important laws.

    It was overwhelmingly improved by the French Ctizens.

    The war between Spain, United Kingdom, and Portugal of the invading and occupying forces of France for the control of the Iberian Peninsula.
  • Napolean and His Men March on Russia

    This was to force Russia back into the Continental blockade of the United Kingdom.
  • Napoleon is Exiled to Elba

    He was dethroned and is banished to Elba, this caused the battle of Waterloo.
  • Napoleon Died

    He most likely died of Stomach Cancer, six years later after his exile.
