to try to limit infatuation, Trudeau introduced wage and price control, for the following three years they controlled the wages of canada and prices very strictly, this made people very mad. economics say that wage and price control did help the country somewhat but is debatable on how much they helped -
Olympics in Montreal
stadium The year montreal hosted the Olympics they had built a brand new stadium called the “Big O” which had a open and closed field. A tower that was 150 meters high was in the middle of the compelex and when there was poor weather they were able to close a 18,500 square meter cover over the whole complex so it would not effect the games.this stadium costed canada 1 billion dollars and we have recently finished paying off the debt. -
