    The third caliph was hazrat Usman Ibn Affan he ruled (644-56).During his time muslims went as far as Cyprus and islam spread very quickly throughtout the region the important work of completing the compilation of the holy Quran was done during the period of hazrat Usman

    Second caliph was Hazrat Umar Ibn al Khattab under his leadership islam spread further into syria and into iraq he ruled (634-44)he set up the basic system for sound goverment
