Change of environment and its impacts .

A journey to the United States in 2008. Nursing was my dream job since I was a little girl but due to some financial issues faced by parents I was not able to achieve that goal until I travelled to this country.

The weather made it difficult for me to adjust at first. Ghana is mostly warm and not much of winter, no snow. In this country I have to work and go to school at the same time which was such a big change for me because it being first experience. However because I had nobody to depend on, I started working towards my career by studying at community college. After completing pre-requisite I transferred to nursing school where I got associate degree in nursing last year.
