    1770 the people of France were separated in 3 different classes,The first class was made up of clergy of Roman Catholic Church they had many benefits like land, freedom and education. The second class is made up of rich nobles they own 20% of the land and pay little taxes.the third estate included bourgeoisie, urban lower class, they were the ones that had the less power in France.

    In the 1780 France was having economic problems taxes increased a lot and it made it hard for businesses.This made many problems and also made France in deep Debts.

    In 1785 bankers started refusing to lend money to government because they owed way to much money. This made many problems for Louis as a ruler he became a weak ruler because he was indecisive and allowed matters to drift and he also didn't really pay attention to his advisers.

    Storming the Bastille In Paris
    July 14 the Bastille prison was attacked, many soldiers were killed in cruel ways. on this day many woman were not happy about the cost of bread so they marched Versailles demanding that the National Assembly takes action to provide bread, they were so angry at the rulers that they broke in the palece and killed many soldiers and also they demanded that they should go back to pairs.

    In 1789 the second state forced the king to call a meeting so the states could provide a new tax. In June they finally vote to to establish the National Assembly in order to have an end in absolute monarchy and a a beginning of representative democracy.
