  • Finish Undergraduate Degree

    Continue to work on my undergraduate degree at the University of South Florida and continue to volunteer at Tampa General Hospital.
  • Look into the NCLEX-RN Exam

    After graduating and receiving my Bachelor in Health Sciences, I have to start looking into where/when I can take the NCLEX-RN Examination in order to become a Registered Nurse.
  • Schedule and Appointment for RN Exam

    Schedule to take the NCLEX-RN Exam a few days before graduation, so right when I graduate, I can go in and take the test to get registered.
  • Graduate Undergraduate Degree

    Graduate from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Health Sciences Degree.
  • Take/Pass NFLEX-RN Exam

    Take the NFLEX-RN Exam at Pearson Professional Center in Tampa Florida (and hopefully pass).
  • Find a Job as an RN

    As soon as I officially become a Registered Nurse, I will look for jobs at different hospitals in Florida to start gaining experience as an RN so that I can apply to graduate school with experience in about 6 months.
  • Start Applying to Graduate School

    It is time to officially start applying/turning in my applications to graduate school. I intend to have all my applications submitted to the following schools by December 1st:
    1. University of Tampa for a Master of Science in Nursing
    2. Sacred Heart University for a Master of Science in Nursing
    3. UNC Chapel Hill for a Master of Science in Nursing
    4. Duke University for a Master of Science in Nursing
    5. University of Central Florida for a Master of Science in Nursing
  • Graduate School

    After getting accepted to Duke University as a graduate student(yay), I will spend the next 18-24 months working to obtain my Master of Science in Nursing degree.
  • Graduate with my masters degree

    After about 2 years of studying and working at Duke, I will graduate with my Master of Science in Nursing degree,
  • Take National Certification Exam

    After completing my Masters Program, I am ready to take the final step in becoming a PMH-APRN and take the national certification Exam provided by the ANCC. I will go to the testing center located on Spring Forest Road in Raleigh, North Carolina.
  • Find a job as PMH-APRN

    Now that I am nationally certified, I can begin looking for my ideal work space as a Psychiatric Mental Health Advanced Practiced Registered Nurse, preferably in my home state of North Carolina.
