Theodosivs 1 was the first emperor. he was the last emperor to rule over west and east Rome at the same time. He made the Orthodox Nicene Christianity. He ruled from 379 - 395

One thing the Theodosivs had to get around was the groups that lived by the new empire. Theodosivs started a friend relationship with the Visigoth. This then led to a strong peace deal.

This was a turning point in the Byzantine empire. The Byzantine empire had no direct connection to Rome and lost the Romain touch. They started following more Greek ideas. This helped the empire in the end but they lost the touch of Rome.

The bubonic plague came around during Justinian rule. The plague hit Constantinople really hard. This affect most of the empires and towns on the Mediterranean Sea. This stop a lot of wars that the empire was in at the time.

On 1453 the Ottowan empire stormed the city of Constantinople. The ottowan finished the already dying empire. The byzantine leader Constantine XI died in the battle.
