The Plague, otherwise known as the Black Death killed around 40% of population in Conastantinoble, ruining any chances of bringing Rome together once again.

Justinian had plans of bringing Rome back together. Justinian was Rome's last home of unity again but he was stopped around 500 when nearly half of his pupulation in certain cities died by the Plague.

The Hagia Sophia was the biggest church my much size anywhere. This church caused people to convert to Christianity.
