    His parents were Alfonso XII and María Cristina de Habsburgo-Lorena. He lost the most of the colonies of Spain and he supported the Dictorship of Primo de Rivera. When it failed, he had to leave Spain. He died the 28th of February on 1941.

    DICTATORSHIP OF PRIMO DE RIVERA

    When the last liberal goverment failed, Alfonso XIII supported the ascend of the dictatorship of Primo de Rivera. It was characterizaded by the censured and repression against the people who didn´t approve it, the creation of a military governing body, the suspension of the Constitution and the closing of the councils and political parties. Later, it was sustituided by the kindly dictatorship of Berenguer.
