    It got its name because Pelebians protested that citizens could not know what the laws were because they were not written down. The laws were written on 12 tablets and couldbe found in a marketplace.

    Latins settled along the Tiber River in small villages. The villages eventually turned into Rome.

    He won the fight with Gaul and Gaul is now France.

    Estrucans lived North of Rome and ruled much of central Italy including Rome.
