    This event took place in the former French colony of Saint-Domingue that lasted from 1791 until 1804.
    This event was also a a series of conflicts between Haitian slaves, colonists, the British and french armies, and a number of other parties

    An armed conflict as well as a culmination of a political and social process which ended the rule of Spain in 1821 known as new spain.

    The Latin american wars began with Mexico and how they tried to gain tenpence but they failed to do so. After that they went to war with spain and gained a victorious victory, they obtained more hope and confidence. After more contries wanted to do the same. Simon Bolivar was a soldier and helped 6 contries gain independence. As a result, he was able to obtain his own country called Bolivia.

    The Latin American Wars for Independence was a terrible time for some spanish countries. It began when Napoleon Bonaparte dethroned Ferdinand and replaced him with his brother. This lead to Spanish power in Latin America to become weakened and a surge of support for independent republics. Mexico was the first to revolt and attempt to gain their independence, lead by Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla. This revolt, however, was unsuccessful and Hidalgo was executed in 1811.

    This even in history begins when Portugal founded Brazil in the 16th Century and declared it their land. When Napoleon fell a man named Dom Joao VI went back to Portugal leaving his son Pedro I and he believed that he could change and make Brazil a better place. Prince Dom Pedro declared Brazil's independence from Portugal. Formal recognition came with a treaty signed by both Brazil and Portugal in late 1825.

    This event was created when the Greece went through war with the Ottoman Empire. The Ottoman empire was basically trying to overcome and overthrow the Greek empire so that they could claim the land as their own. So in other words The Greek War of Independence, also known as the Greek Revolution, was a war of independence waged by the Greek revolutionaries between 1821 and 1832 against the Ottoman Empire.
