    Haitian Revolution
    The Haitian Revolution was a very important event in history that took place in a French colony. The Haitian Revolution started on August 12, 1791 and ended in January 1, 1804. The thing that makes the Haitian Revolution so important is that they where the only country who's slaves where able to take their freedom by force and also it's the only successful slave revolt in modern times

  • Mexican War of Independence

    Mexican War of Independence
    The Mexican War of Independence began on April 25, 1846 and ended when the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo was signed on February 2, 1848. The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo was entitled the Treaty of Peace and Settlement between the United States and the Mexican Republic. However, even after when the Treaty was signed the fighting was still going on for several of months between Mexican guerrillas and U.S troops. Ir finally ended on August 2, 1840

    The Italian Unification lasted for 22 years. The Italian Unification began in the year 1848 and ended in 1870 and it was also located. It was a movement to unite Italy into one cultural and political entity and it was known as the Risorgimento or resurgence but in the end they failed to create and Italy united by democracy.

    The Latin America Wars for Independence began when Napoleon dethroned and replace him with his brother. By doing this, this lead to a weakening of Spanish power in Latin America and a surge of support for independent republics. The first country to revolt was Mexico in an attempt to gain their independence and the revolt was lead by Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla who was was unsuccessful at his attempt to gain their independence

    The Greek War of Independence very much like the Haitian Revolution was a successful war of independence waged by the Greek revolutionaries between 1821 and 1832 against the Ottoman Empire during the time the Greeks were assisted by the Russian Empire, Great Britain, France and others

The special attributes that Brazil had was having a monarch who empire boost of a relatively bloodless independence from Portugal. This was good for Brazil because they did not have to fight nor did they have to create any revolt
