    The plan of independence got discovered by the spaniards and Josefa Ortiz de dominguez told the people that they had been discovered and that they had to start the independence as soon as possible since they were doing to get caught.

    The grito de dolores happened when Miguel Hidalgo rang the bells of a church as a way to start the independence. He gave a speech called the grito de dolores intended for the people that were in his side as a way of union and initiation of the war.

    There was an angry mass of mexicans that attacked the city. A man with the nickname el pipila, tied a piece of stone in his back to protect himself from the bullets of the spanish and set the building on fire. The war was in Guanajuato.

    Battle of monte de las cruces, the mexican rebels defeated the spanish, it was leaded by Miguel Hidalgo and Ignacio allende. They started the conquer many land and their power started to expand.

    After the death of hidalgo, Jose Maria Morelos got into power and he did the Congress of Chilpancingo were the wanted to do a new constitution which ended up being called the Constitution of Apatzingán. Days after that, morelos got captured and executed.

    Agustin Iturbide got into power and created the plan de iguala with guerrero. The Ejército de las Tres Garantías was created and Iturbide had the final say.

    The Ejército de las Tres Garantías marched into the city of Mexico and there was a treaty called Treaty of Córdoba which was that the spanish troops would withdraw. Mexico was finally independent.
