    The way the Haitian Revolution started was the Untied States and France gained more freedom through revolution which inspired others to do the same. Brutal slave masters also treated African Slaves poorly which also caused revolt.

    In 1804 the revolution was successful because slaves were eventually freed. Independence was also declared. Thus resulting in the ability to set up their own government.

    Padre Miguel Hidalgo and Padre Jose Maria Morelos led The Europeans to influence their strong beliefs in enlightenment ideals. They also wanted to take steps towards independence.

    Simon Bolivar and Jose de San Martin had led a group of creoles who had all struggled for independence as Bolivar's army ad suffered numerous defeats. Spanish forces in nearby Chile and Peru still posed as a threat to Martin's army. Thus resulting in them joining their forces.

    In 1821 Hildalgo and morelos had joined together with Mexico since they were riddles with fear. eventually resulting in united support for Mexico's freedom. Which caused the revolution to be successful.
