Britain occupies Guyana
British Guyana was the name of the British colony, part of the British West Indies. The first European to discover Guyana was Sir Walter Raleigh. Eager to attract more settlers, in 1746 the Dutch authorities opened the area near the Demerara River to the British immigrants. -

Chile gained their independence from Spain and became one of the top ten states in Latin America to become independent. Since they are independence the president O'Higgins as its first president. The document that confirmed Chile´s independence was on February 12, 1818. -

A war declaring independence for Uruguay
The war was between Uruguay, Brazil and Argentina. Argentina and Uruguay won the war and Uruguay became independent. Uruguay´s first president was Joaquin Suarez, he controlled Uruguay as they became a independent state. -
Peru and Bolivia signed a war treaty
Since they signed a treaty it mean that Peru and Bolivia went in war together. The war is called "The war of the confederation". The war lasted from 1836 to 1839.
