    The last battle of the Haitian Revolution occured November 18 1803. Which was faught between the haitian rebels and France. After haitians victory in 1803 their leader Deassalines declared independence from france january 1,1804. Remaining it Haiti after the indigenous Arawak name.

    In 1810 Miguel Hidalgo took the first steps of freedom and wanted to make Mexico free. Miguel issued a call for rebellion againts the spanish september 16, 1810. Where 80,000 of Miguels men began a march to Mexico city to take on and defeat the spanish on september 17, 1810. But the spanish army defeated Miguels men and did not declare mexico free.     Simon Boliva was a general and a fighter, that faught for the independence of Venezuela. Bolivas army suffered many defeats causing Bolivar to go into exile twice in 1811. After his two exiles Bolivar led 2,000 soldiers on a daring march through the Andes into what is now columbia to attack the spanish army in August of 1819. His plan worked perfectly as he Took the spaish army completely from surpise and won a decisive victory in 1819. Bolivar finally won Venezuelas independence in 1821.

    San Martin and Argentina declared independence in 1816 Although other spanish countries still posed a threat. So in 1817 San led an army on a march across the andes to chile where he met other leaders and with help freed chile. After he declared Chile free he wanted to defeat the spanish army but to do so neede a bigger force and met bolivar in 1822. Where he then went to take on the spanish army and won December 9, 1824. And all of the spanish countries in america won their freedom.

    In 1807 Napoleons armies invaded Spain and Portugaul Trying to close the ports of Spain and Portugaul to british shipping. Causing the prince and the royal family to move to, Brazil which became the capital of the portuguese empire for 14 years. After Napoleons defeat in 1815 the portuguese Goverment moved back six years later. In 1822, the Creoles demanded Brazils independence from portugal. Without violence Brazil and Don Pedro came to an agreement and Brazil was Declared independent in 1822
