The goverment created a state combining the seperate states Texas and Coahulia. It had its own immagration policy. -
Constitution of 1824
After a mexian leader lostpower Mexico became a republic. Officials adopted the Federal Constitution of the U.S of Mexico, known as the Constituion of 1824. Erasmo Senquin helped write this. -
Panic of 1891
In 1891 the united states ran into a financial problem. Austins bank failed along with many others. To get on the right track again, Austin had an idea to establish a colony of U.S families and charge them fees. Hopefully tis would work.
