Iturbide takes over with his strategic plan and Plan de Iguala is implemented.

Iturbide gets together with Guerrero and create Plan de Iguala that promised Mexico it's independence, absolute religion and an equal society. Tres Garantias squad were put to reinforce these conditions.

Viceroy accepts Plan de Iguala and recognizes Mexico's independence. Iturbide becomes emperor soon after this.
