    Find Job on Railroad
I was wandering until I found a town and were hiring people to build a railroad. I signed up and got started. The job was boring laying tracks all day and sleeping cramped with the other workers and the pay was terrible but I was supplied with food and housing with it.

    Land at Last
After working for ten years I finally saved enough money to buy myself some land. The land is very fertile and is in Eastern Washington. I have planted apple saplings and wheat to sell when grown. I have a temporary shelter while I build a house. Now I finally have what I came here for.
