    Tacitus was a Roman writer, Quaestor, Praetor and consul of Asia. He was most famous for describing the German people in his book Germania. The book details our only description of the German tribes in this time however it is biased because Tacitus is using this book to compare the barbarians to the Roman people and shame them.
