    Travels of Paul

    Paul traveled over 10,000 miles to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. He traveled through present day Israel, Syria, Turkey, and Greece. The Romans built many roads for better transportation of goods. Paul used these roads to travel easier, though they were in danger of bandits almost all the time. Traveling by sea was the worst. It was not comfortable. Paul shipwrecked 3 times when he was traveling by sea.

    The Great Fire of Rome

    On the night of July, a fire began to spread around the Circus Maximus from a crumpled iron gate. The people of the city didn't think anything of the fire because they thought it was normal. The fire went on for six days, before it died down, but it came back again and burned for another three. During the fire, Nero (Roman Emperor)murdered his own mother. After the fire, people spoke that Nero ordered the fire to clear space for something new. Nero blamed the Christians for starting the fire.

    Battle of Milvian Bridge

    Constantine was the Roman Emperor who won a miraculous battle. Constantine, according to legend, states that before the battle of milvian bridge, had a vision for him to fight in the name of Christ, while his soldiers held the symbol of Christ with their shields. The battle of milvian bridge was between Constantine 1 and Maxentius. The reason why this battle is named this, is because it's named after a bridge near the Tiber river.

    Edict of Milan

    The Edict of Milan was a letter signed by the Roman Emperors, Constantine and Licinius, which stated the religious acts of the Roman Empire. This letter stopped the persecution of Christians. Constantine wanted to issue this act so he could become the Western Roman Emperor. He was baptized on his deathbed in 337.

    He signed a degree that made Christianity the official religion of the Roman Empire. He allowed the followers of Christ to Relocate.
