This was created because King Henry VIII wanted a divorce from his wife and he wasn't allowed to get one so he just started his own church. -

Elizabeth I Takes the Crown
She was the daughter of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn and was fighting for the crown with her sister Mary -
James I takes the crown
He was the first king of England and Scotland. He also believed in Divine Right. -
English Civil War
It was led by Oliver Cromwell and they caught Charles I but he escaped. They eventually caught him and killed him. -
Charles I Beheaded
He was the son of James I. Parliament tried to make a law that said the king had to get their permission before creating any new taxes and he ignored this petition and started collecting taxes without permission and he would not listen to parliament. -
Oliver Cromwell dies
He led the English Civil War and made a Military government rule. That turned out bad because the military was too violent. -
Glorious Revolution
WIlliam of Orange and Mary were invited to invade England by Paarliament. They were then made monarchs if they agreed to sign the English Bill of Rights. -
English Bill of Rights is signed
This established the Rule of Law. It also created a constitutional monarchy.
