Napoleon was a military leader, and eventually rose to be an emperor, who conquered much of europe. In the french revolution he quickly rose through the rank. He crowned himself emperor 1804. Later on napoleon abdicated the throne and was exiled, then be rose back to power briefly before going back into exile.

Because of the recent events happening in france, there was a meeting of the three estates, this hasn't happened in the last 175 years. But the third estate´s (that represented didnt have any say) ideas could be vetoed by the 1st and second estates. This lead to the national assembly, formed by the third estate.

members of the estates, for the third estate (national assembly) vowed to separate and reassemble when it is required. This will be until the constitution for the kingdom is decided.

The Bastille was a prison fortress in france at the time of the french revolution, this prison represented the monarchy's authority and also had many weapons stored there. Bastille was stormed by people(people who would be in the third class, all people who were not in the 1st and third estate) how were starting to revolt against their current government situation.

The third estate took the first step toward writing the new condition for france. The things written in the constitution were influenced from the enlightenment, and were more focused on natural rights.

A mob of people (started with women mob) started rioting and made their way from paris to the palace of Versailles. The mob got their anger from current revolution. There was a dramatic and violent confrontation at the place. The next day the crowd compelled the king (king louis XVI) to go back with them to paris.

The reign of terror was when there was a period of violence, between two political factions, this conflict lead to a mass execution. tens of thousands of people that were considered enemies of the revolution were killed.
