    Thousands of Parisian women marched on Versailles rioting over the rising price of bread.
  • Louis Tries to Escape

    Louis is warned that his family was in danger and the royal family tries to escape from France unsafe and left the country to the Austria Netherlands.
  • A Limited Monarchy

    The National Assembly completed the new constitution, which Louis approved without wanting to. This new constitution limited constitutional monarchy.
  • France at War

    About 20,000 men and women invaded the Tuileries, the palace where te royal family was staying because the Prussian commander threatened to destroy Paris if the revolutionaries harmed any member of the royal family.
