The Twelve Tables were pieces of stone that had writing carved into them. The main reason for having the laws written down, was so that the law-enforcers/ government couldn't change them with-out everyone being aware. Once a law was made, it was was known to everyone.

Romulus and Remus were twin brothers, and were abandoned by their parents when they were babies and were put into a basket in the Tiber River. not long after a female wolf found the two and nursed them until a sheperd found them and raised them When Romulus and Remus became adults, they decided to go back to the city were the wolf had raised them.Remus was killed by his brother and Romulus decided to name the city after himself.

After winning many wars, Julius Caesar comes back to Rome and becomes their dictator. Unlike most dictators he did good things for the city and made sure that everyone was happy
