    Byzantine Capital Found

    Emperor Constantine I makes a new capital after Western Rome is gone. This capital becomes a MAJOR trade route that draws attraction to foreigners, also since they had multiple influences such as Greek, Roman, and Christian.

    Nika Revolt

    These riots were an effect of some chariot racing teams that were going to be sentenced for execution but two men ended up surviving and the fans and people protested to protect those racers, which nearly half the city burned down in result.

    General Belisarius Military Campaigns

    General Belisarius was indeed the one to put down the Nika Revolts. Belisarius also made peace with the Persian Army. Belisarius was sent to attack the Ostrogoths and won that battle also winning multiple other battles.

    Hagia Sophia

    The meaning of Hagia Sophia is "holy wisdom." Hagia Sophia's dimensions are approximately 270 feet long & 240 feet wide. The dome is about 108 feet in diameter & it's crown rises about 180 feet. Present day Hagia Sophia as been turned into a museum by the Turkish.

    The primary cause of the fall of Constantinople was the assault that was lead by Sultant Mehmed II. This siege had lasted for about 5 days. After all of the fighting Mehmed and his army officially took over Constantinople and renamed it "Istanbul."
