Constantine was born in the year 227, and died in 337. He bacame an emperor in 306. He made Christianity the main religion, he also unified the church and the empire, merged the state and church, founded Constantinople and did the Christian explotion.

During her period as an empress she took control when the nica riots occured and had alot of power. Theadora fought for what she belived. She belived on fairness and on justice for women. She created new laws to protect woman.

Heraclius was born in the year 575, and became an emperor in 610. He introduced the Greek language to the Romans. When he became an emperor the empire was very weak and threatened in the borders, but he helped the military to get stonger and win battles, also in 627 he won aginst the persians and got peace with them. Heraclius improved the royar edministration in the espern empire and finally restored the true cross in Jersualem.. He Died in the year 641.

Irene was the first woman to rule in the Byzantine Empire. She was born in the year 725. Her major accomplishments were that when she died she was turned into a very important icon to Christianity also she restored many Christan icons, She was a very unique empress. She died in the year 803

Basil ll was born in the year 957. He expanded the Empire and made the army stronger. He lasted over 50 years, he had a strong personality that was very helpful during his period as an emperor. He died in 1025 and was one of the best emperors the Byzantine Empire had.

She increased the power of the senate, created her own coinage, and donated alot to poor people.She stopped riots, had great education and married constantine to gained power.
