THE BYZANTINE EMPIRE COMES TO AN END AS IT FALLS TO THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE. THE OTTOMAN TURLS CAPTURE CONSTANTINOPLE IN 1453 AD IT IS RENAMED ISTANBUL IN 1930.
