    The French and the Africans were fight trying to get freedom. The colony now known as Haiti occupied the western third of the island of hispaniola in the caribbean sea. Nearly 500,000 enslaved Africans worked on French plantation and they out numbered their masters by a whole lot. In 1801 toussaint became a skilled general and diplomat then he freed all the enslaved Africans.

    Miguel Hidalgo from a small village he started to take his first step for independene. He was a poor man but still very educated, one day he just rand th church bells and everybody gathered at the church and thats when he called for a rebellion against the spanish. The day after he had his Idians and his Mestizos with him marching toward Mexico City. Soon after this army numbered 80,000 men then the uprising of the lower classes and people who feared they would loss they're land. Morelos led.

    Venezuelan Revolution

    Simon Bolivar he was a big fact in Venezuelan Revolution becuase he helped them fight. He also knew he couldnt do it him self so he had to go and get people that were in the army to help him gain the independence. Bolivar got defeated so many times he just said at one point in 1819 he led over 2,000 soliders through a rough road through the Andes what is now the columbias. He cought the army Bogotta by suprise and won the fight.

    San Martin had declared its independence. Also chile and peru still posed a threat against argentina. San Martin also took his army across Andes to Chile. He was also joined with Bernardo O'Higgins , son of a former viceroy of peru. Now with they're help they freed chile. Also San Martin and Simon Bolivar joined forces and gained freedom for spanish colonies.
