    Treaty between Great Britain and The United States. Treaty of Paris ended revolution. The thirteen colonies are now independent.

    King Louis XVI called a meeting to discuss financial issues. The people of the meeting began arguing which led to the division of the the third estates from the group. The third estates divided from the group because they wanted to make their own laws.

    The third estate separated from their group meeting and moved their own meeting to a tennis court. Their oath was that the members would continue meeting until a new constitution was written. This oath is seen as a revolutionary act.

    A state prison was attacked by an angry mob. The mob attacked because they demanded the ammunition that was locked inside. This event marked the beginning of the French Revolution. This event is a national holiday that is celebrated to this day.

    A mob of seven thousand women marched to the Versailles. The women shouted "Bread! Bread!" to symbolize the feasts King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette had. The mob attacked and imprisoned the two until their executions. This event led to a groundbreaking demand for gender equality.

    The mob from the march on Versailles imprisoned the two royals. Louis XVI was put on trial by the National Convention. He was executed by the guillotine. Nine months later his wife was convicted and sentenced to death by guillotine.

    Napoleon Bonaparte was crowned in the Notre Dame Cathedral by Pope Pius VII. Napoleon was the first frenchman to be crowned in a thousand years and Napoleon was named one of the greatest military strategists ever. Napoleon was later exiled to Africa under house arrest and died. His body is intombed under the dome of the invalides.

    This battle took place in Belgium. Took most countries of Europe to the final defeat of Napoleon. Napoleon's forces were defeated by the British and Prussians.

    Mexico Gains Independence
    One of the catholic priests launched the Mexican War of Independence. Later, O'Donoju signed the treaty of Cordoba which approved a plan to make Mexico an independent constitutional monarchy.
