During the Battle of Atlantic, Britain was fighting for the trade networks that Germany decided to attack to hopefully stop britain from gaining resourses from Canada, and other allies willing to trade. Canada's role in this was to try and keep sending merchants as many were being destroyed, as well as to protect them. 3 -

Battle Of Dunkirk
During the battle of Dunkirk an extreme battle against Germany and the Allied forces was put into play. The Battle of France on the Western Front is where the battle took place, leading to the Battle of Dunkirk being the evacuation of British and allied forces in Europe to leave Dunkirk. Where in that time Canada fended off Nazi infantry until the British reinforcements arrived, to then retreat from the blood bath that ensued. 5 -
Battle of Britain
The battle of Britain was the mass bombing of Britain to try and cancel Britsh weapons production. All could have been lost as Britain was out numbered, until Canada showed up for Britain by producing hurricane fighters and training pilots to defend Britain, these planes could fly 2x as high as German Spitfires and demolished German planes. 2 -
Battle of Hong Kong
The Battle of Hong Kong was when Japanese attacked Hong Kong, China. Where Canada defended Hong Kong out of the fear that Japan could have attacked Canada after their new found reputation.The product of this fight was not good, as many canadians were killed or een captured, and Hong Kong was Japans. Atleast we tried and China took note of that. 8 -
Battle of Dieppe
The Battle of Dieppe was an Allied attack on the occupied port of Dieppe. Canada was in charge of seizing and holding a major German port. though upon retreat, the Allies also wanted to destroy anything that could ruin dire resourses. So the Canadian efforts where much needed in this battle. We just outnumbered so we pretty much guarenteed failure, while ally's were more succesful having killed soldiers, and pillaging equipment. 7 -
Italian Campaign
The Italian Campaign was connected to liberating Italy after the fall of Mussolini there leader, as a key figure in during the war. Italy was crushed by Canadian forces in order to demonstrate their fighting ability. This provided recognition for Canada and proved that they where fighters and could be percieved as a brother to Britain wrather than a child. 6 -
D-Day
During D-Day Canada was seen as the optimist of the ally's, charging ahead to claim an important piece from Germany, this is known as Juno beach were many naval units of germany were shipped destroyng trade routes with ally forces. This was a important piece for Canada as we had the element of suprise when we ambushed the beach. Proving that we can fight not only as people but as a independent nation. 1. -
Liberation of the Netherlands
The Liberation of the Netherlands happened closer to the end of the war where Hitler killed himself, leaving the Netherlands one the last places to be freed. By who? Noe other than Canada itself. The dutch shocked at our nice deeds sent us 1000's of Tulips per year. This is a contribution to the development of our amazing reputation today and then. 4
