  • Start of WW1

    This is a major decline because this will harm thousands of Canadians. The first world war affects everyone it starts with the assassination of archduke Franz Ferdinand which caused one of the biggest wars in the entire history of the world -1
  • The battle of Ypres

    Said to be the first major battle for Canada which lasted from 22 April to 25 May 1915 it was a brutal but well deserving victory for Canada as they stood there ground taking heavy fire and even evaded several waves of harmful gas thrown at them another thousands of Canadians lives were lost. -1
  • Battle of Vimy Ridge

    Took place Apr. 9, 1917 – Apr. 12, 1917 it was a very impressive victory and a defining point in Canadian history. This was a victory that will be celebrated forever but we can't ignore the thousands of lives that were lost in this battle
  • Middle of WW1

    It caused a lot of casualties and also was a decline in Canadian history, from the battle of Ypres to the battle of Vimy ridge. Canadians helped a lot during those battles by assisting our allies we would end up winning the war but so many Canadians suffered and died from it -2 June 28 1914 - November 11th
  • Ending of WW1 Start of the Roaring 20s

    Although the heavy casualties that faced Canada the beginning of the roaring 20s were hard a lot of poverty but also a lot of light as in we started having positive progression by cars being sold more as a new form of transportation and medical supplies being founded. +1
  • Middle of the Roaring twenties

    -1 although the culture was building there were still many racist crimes going on throughout Canada the farmers also started to lose jobs and suffer. finding jobs were still a major problem many were left jobless. The roaring twenties finally marked Canada's true independence from Britain, this decade showed a lot of progression but will end up leading to the great depression which is caused by a number of things but most importantly, the crash of the stock market.
  • End of the roaring twenties

    -2 This is where everything starts to go bad the farmers lose almost all jobs after the wheat market crashes the stock market also crashes making so many Canadians which means the banks take there houses away leaving them into poverty the rest of the decade and the next will suffer from this which then leads into the next world war.
