    When the British went to war, this automatically included Canada because they were related colonies. I believe that this was both a time of progress and decline in many ways, and there is lots of information backing up how this was beneficial and detrimental for Canada at the same time.

    whilst men were away at War, this opened doors for many women and gave them jobs and higher ranked status in the work community. This was a time of process because it encouraged women's rights movements in the future and started a whole new generation.

    The Battle of Vimy Ridge was a time of progress for Canadians. It became a symbolic event that recognized Canada as a threat and really boosted the confidence of Canadian soldiers.
