Franz Ferdinand was assassinated, he was assassinated by Serbian Terrorists, which later caused World War 1, Canada was involved even though we had nothing to do with the conflict.
This conflict happened because Serbia was blamed and couldn't meet 3 demands made by Austria.
This is a -1 because of all the chaos and pain it caused for the people of canada, but it was out of our control since we were a colony of Britain.

Britain went to war colonies like the British Empire, Canada and Newfoundland, were “automatically” at war.
Canada may have a lost a lot men but since Canada did help with the war, they were being loyal to Britain which made a progress to Canada and helped Canada in the long run.
This a 0 because even though it may have helped Canada it also impacted it in a bad way since we lost so many men.

The first major battle for Canada.
6,000 soldiers were killed, wounded, or captured.
Canada's division was outnumbered and has to face the loss of the third of the force due to chlorine gas.
I chose -1 for this because even though we lost so many Men in the battle and cause disadvantage to our army, Canada still managed to keep the Germans from breaking through, that's why its only a -1.

In this battle, Canada attacked as a strong unit.
This was an important victory at that time because of the Triple Entente. After this event, Canada's soldiers are known to be brave and independent. Through the triple entente proved the soldiers even further to be impressive. This is a +1 although the battle took out 10 000 Canadian soldiers; they managed to take down an estimated 20 000 German soldiers though.

Canadians played a key role in the series of battles, with the infantry, machine guns, the air power, armoured vehicles, and chemical weapons, the German armies were defeated.
This is a +2 because it brought progress to Canada, they were a major part of the war despite the many casualties and hard journey, this proved Canada's soldiers to be strong. It made Canada an independent country in the end.

Agnes was elected to the parliament. She was the first woman in the parliament and championed Ontario’s first equal pay legislation.
This brought progress to Canada which makes it a +2, this is because Agnes inspired many Canadian women to speak out and to break the stereotype of women. She also helped by restoring human rights to many Canadians the rights of miners, immigrants, prisoners, women, and other marginalized groups.

The Canadian flag colours were determined. The red portion of the flag is for the British flag, and the white portion of the flag represents the French flag. People might not think that this is an important part of Canada’s history. However, this has major significance which is why its a +2 because the flag represents the nation, and this is what the soldiers are representing when they are on the battlegrounds.

After the war, Britain decided to stay in Turkey but the Turks attacked them. They sent out a request for Canada to send out men to help them but Prime Minister Mackenzie King declined the request.
This event is a +2 and helped Canada makes its own decisions. It made Canada an independent country, we could make our own choices as a nation and to not be as loyal to Britain anymore.

This event is a +2 because Prime Minister King received a declaration stating that Canada is officially an independent country and is going to be seen equal to Britain.
This event made Canada an independent country which now can decide on their own. If Canada's still under Britain's power, Many immigrants couldn't be here and Canada might get dragged along Britain's conflicts because of the allegiance.

This official declaration has been for by a group of women “The Famous Five”. They were trying to fight for the rights that used to be for men only.
This would be a +2 since all Women are now considered as people with their own rights like they deserve. These women faced discrimination across Canada but managed to gain their rightful rights, It has resulted in an equal country.
