Canada joining the war was a good thing. Even though there was lots of loss, Canada came together and played a big part in winning the war. -

Billy Bishop and the air force received a great reputation, and improved the air craft tech. Most of the air force lost their lives though. -

The Great Depression was caused when the stock market crashed. This resulted in economic hardship for everyone. All businesses suffered and there was lots of job losses.
