The battle of vimy ridge (political)

Explanation: Canada was getting dragged into the First World War. At vimy ridge, 100,000 Canadian troops rushed and overcame the German forces. This was an important moment for Canadians. I gave this a good rating because this was a good change and Canada came together.

Explanation : The Spanish flue is a flue that is contagious, it effects your respiratory system. This disease was carried by soldiers overseas after world war one. Explanation: Fredrick banting and his friend discovered insulin. It was believed to be a cure for diabetes. It changes peoples lives. I gave this a 1 ranking because I think that this helped people and has changed diabetes.

Explanation: This strike started because the railroad organizations were mad with getting paid very low for the hard and dangerous work they did. This strike stopped construction for a while, but this ended in august because they then started to improve in labor. This was a good change and I fell they proved their point, so that’s why I gave it this ranking.

Explication: in this time,People would refer to a person as only a man. a group of women activists did not agree with this so they took this issue to privy council. They then decided that word “person” would include women. I gave this rank because these women helped women from all over the world gain equality. This was an amazing change that happened during that time
