It was a great battle, it was the war nobody won, it was the War of 1812. In 1812 there was a war between the United States of America and Great Britain (Canada at the time). The United States declared war because they thought that Canada was weak, and they needed more land.

A conference was held in the Parliament Buildings in Quebec. The conference was attended by delegates from Canada; including New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland. At the conference, relolutions were adopted, and it made a basis for the Bristish North America Act, (BNA Act).
