Plus, the rulers of Ghana then ade a law on only they could own gold nuggets, and the rest had to use gold flakes, and that became thier currency. of course this was significant because Ghana became rich. however, it affected the people by making them less rich. -

This time period was Ghana's hey-days. They were rich and now with thier powerful army, Ghana started to envade and take over other neighboring areas. This was highly significant because this was all under the rule of their most awesome king, Tunka Manin.This affected the peopleby now, they had more room to move into. -

Ghana's Death
This was a very tragic time for Ghana because they begane to crumble.Three main reasons for Ghana's "extinction" were invasion by the Almorvians, overgrazing cauing thier farm and grazing land to go down, and internal rebellion, which was people on the inside of the Ghana empire, observed them, finding their weaknesses and driving this empire into the ground. The effect it had on people was the people left te empire, in fear of dieing. -
Ghana Takes Over Trade
This event was very important. why, you may ask... because this is when The Ghana empire was fully established. plus, the Ghana empire had much control over trading, thus, Ghana's wealth grew. This was significant because now, Ghana grew in wealth. And the people began to grow in power -
