Presently, I am in grade 10 at Earl Haig Secondary School. Once I graduate, I plan to apply to the University of Guelph to study Anthropology. In preparation for graduation, I am volunteering and studying.

Culminating Activity

According to my Destination Guidebook, in five years’ time I will have graduated and transitioned from high school on to University. I would have gotten into the University of Guelph, and be working on my bachelor’s degree. I predict that the learning skills that I acquired will be useful and assisting me on my journey through University.

If everything went well, and my financial and distance situation for University was resolved, then I would have completed my bachelor’s degree, and would be studying and working on the second year of my Master’s degree. To pay of any outstanding education debts, I would be working part time alongside with my studies. I plan on applying to work part time as a barista at Starbucks. My Skills Transition List and Job Search Package both show evidence that I would be suitable for the position.

In 15 years from now, I will in my last year of University working on my PhD in Egyptology. I would most likely not be working at Starbucks anymore, yet be employed as a junior archaeologist with a company practicing my skills in some field work. According to my career cluster, I should graduate school and then apply to a university and teach as a professor.
