Ship sailing to Angel Island
My wife and I are sailing across the pacific ocean to head to Angle Island. The boat is old and
Doesn’t sail well. The beds are uncomfortable and we stay up all night. I cant wait to get off. It is august 23 1850. -

Beginning to drop down there so I am expecting to move down south. It is late March Of 1851 -
Us heading west
After a great deal of traveling to the mining spot we did it. A mile or so back my wife
My new friend and I built a little cabin close by. It isn't looking good for the gold. Days
After day we find nothing but a little dust here and there. I am ready to call it quits.
My friend and I and my wife decided it is best if we move down south and begin a
A new life. It is october 12 1851 when we decide to head out. -

Its just me now. My wife and friend we captured by the Indian tribe. I don’t
Know what to do anymore. I am out of work and my wife was captured.
I am to go work on the railroad to save money to go back home in Hong Kong.
I get their and begin to start a new life. Its early January of 1853 -
Woking on the railroad to save money
I have saved as much money as a could to buy bits and pieces for the boat. I
Have worked non stop. The working conditions are terrible. We work for hours
And hours straight with little breaks here and there. We get a few sips of water
They provide. But I get little to non. The racism here is terrible. Everyone is concerned
My people are going to take their job. I saved for two years and im ready to begin
My journey back home. I regret coming to America I loss my wife and my friend. -
Sailing home
I bought my boat and im starting my journey back home. I am starting a new life their
To raise a farm. And fall in love again. The ride on my little boat is as least a little more
Comfortable. It was so cold the whole way. The ride was rocky and I would sometimes get wet.
Well I made it back safe and sound. Im using the money I have saved to buy a little farm.
Nothing special but something I can make profit on.
