I learnt how to lay my information in a neat fashion early on in my course. This included what order to place media such as pictures, screenshots and videos before or after text, as well as using things such as subheadings and underlining text

By this time, it became easier to analyse media texts and I was able to do this in a thorough manner for homework tasks

We used garageband to create the sound design for our title sequence and used Final Cut Pro to cut, split and move around the clips for our production pieces

We learnt how to use adobe premier pro and found out where some of the effects and transtions were as well as how to lipsync in an accurate way

From doing it last year, I was able to become more analytical when writing about different aspects of real media, this helped me to understand more about both music and film and meant I was able to complete tasks easier as I understood it more.

I began to use a lot more ict such as gifs and embedding different photos and videos from different sharing platforms. I also began to use applications I hadn't used before such as authorstream, mindmeister and powtoon, which I never tried due to my limited knowlege of how to use all of its functions

We edited a few clips of a song so that it was both audio synced as well as kept to a continuity and fluidity that made the music video interesting to watch. This is where we began to use markers

By analysing the lyrics we were also able to conjure any concepts surrounding the visuals and how we could illustrate its ideas. We did this as a group so this also relates to teamwork

I developed my making of an animatic because this time I had to focus on the timings and making it as aocurate as possible so it showed how we planned for the sequence to be shot, since this was a more proffessional production due to this being our 2nd year
