Recruitment Timeline

  • Needs Analysis

    The business goals and requirements and what the business already has in place to support/acheive their objectives. This is the basis for identifying what the business is really looking for.
  • Create Job Description

    A general overview/statement of a specific job.
  • Person Attribute

    An individual's personal qualities and skills.
  • Advertise Job

    A company promoting and offering a job role that people can apply for through, newspapers, magazines, internet, etc.
  • Job Search

    Perform research on a broad range of jobs in different fields. (e.g. office jobs, teacher, manager of a hotel, architect assistant, etc.)
  • CV Completion

    Individuals make changes and/or update their CV
  • Research Job

    Individual research on a specific job in more depth.
  • Apply For Job

    Individual apply for job through applucation forms, CV, etc. Depending on the company's job application requirements for job applicants.
  • Collect Responses

    Business takes in responses from potential individuals (job applicants).
  • Long list + Short list

    The company then groups job applicants into a long list and the remaining applicants that stood out amongst others into a short list.
  • Set Interview Date

    Person in charge of interviewing applicants of the company will set assign interview dates for potential job applicants.
  • Prepare For Interview

    Individuals that were assigned an interview date will then prepare in their own way/strategy for the upcoming job interview.
  • Interview

    The interview will be carried out formally betwen the job applicant and the person in charge (business representative) of interviewing these applicants.
  • Make A Decision + Choose

    After the business has interviewed potential applicants, the business will go through a process of evaluating and choosing the job candidate.
  • Acceptance Process

    The business will inform the individual they got the job and wait for the individual's response whether if they accept the job or not.
  • SIgn Contract

    If the individual accepts the job offer, they will sign a code of conduct (contract) the business gives.
  • Job Introduction

    Individual will have to go through job specification and will have covered information on management responsibilities, duties/job role, expectations, salary, hours of work, etc.
  • Individual Appraisal

    Individual will be evaluated by their manager on their performance and contributions they made to the company as well as, employee's skills, achievements and growth.
