I was born on a sunny morning at St. Joseph's Hospital in Ann Arbor.

My mother breastfed me.

I smiled at my mom for the first time.

I developed bonds with my grandparents. They watched me when my parents were both working.

My first word was "mama".

I got my first tooth.

I took my first steps.

I had a virus that went to the brain. I had to relearn things that I previously knew such as sitting up on my own, standing, etc.

My parents bought me a Big Wheel for my 3rd birthday, It took me some time to learn to pedal it on my own.

My sister, Becky was born. I was happy that I became a big sister.

I started Kindergarten.

I was excited to have a new baby brother.

I lost my first tooth.

I was a very active child. I loved to play outside.

I started 1st grade.

I started 2nd grade.

I started 3rd grade.

I became interested in doing gymnastics.

I started 4th grade.

I moved during my 4th grade year. My mom had me finish the year at the same school. I met a new friend down the street named Lindsey. We became best friends. I was happy to finally have my own room.

I started at a new school. It was an adjustment. I was sad to leave my old friends but I made new friends.

I started 5th grade.

I started 6th grade.

I moved to middle school where I met some new friends. I attended my first school dance in 6th grade.

I took band for three years during middle school. I learned to play the flute.

I started 7th grade.

I started 8th grade.

I had my first menstrual period (menarche).

I started 9th grade.

I started high school. The high school was very large. There were two different high schools that shared the same campus. I didn't really know anyone in my classes. It was very different from middle school and it was a difficult adjustment. I had a lot of anxiety.

My anxiety was much worse. I started to have panic attacks at school. It got so bad that I took the rest of the semester off from school. I started to see a counselor (Psychosocial). I started taking anxiety medication (Biosocial).

I spent a lot of time reading about anxiety disorders and learning ways to cope with anxiety and panic attacks (cognitive). It also made me feel better knowing that I wasn't alone, crazy and that other people had gone through similar experiences (psychosocial).

I started back at school.

It was very difficult going back to school at first. However, I overcame my personal obstacles and grew tremendously over my remaining years at high school.

I got my first job working as a summer office assistent at my old high school.

I still had anxiety from time to time but it was in the normal range and it did not affect my life like it did before. I was proud of what I had overcame.

I started studying psychology at the University of Michigan- Dearborn (Cognitive). I met my best friend there at orientation (Psychosocial).

I started working at Bath and Body Works. I loved working there. I met a lot of amazing people who I became close friends with.

I found out that my parents were seperating. I was very upset and had a difficult time with it.

I became a student assistant for one of the psychology professors.

I started my internship with a school psychologist.

I graduated from the University of Michigan- Dearborn with a B.A in psychology and a sociology minor.

I started working as a paraprofessional in a Great Start Readiness Program. I love working with the students, families and staff members.

I completed the CDA Preparation Program at Washtenaw Community College.

My mom was rushed to the hospital after complaining for awhile about a horrible headache. The doctors told us that she had a brain aneurysm rupture.

I took off work for the next month so I could be there by my mom's side everyday.

My mom was moved to hospice. It was the hardest decision in my life.

I was in the room when my mom passed away. It was the hardest thing that I have had to deal with in my life so far. I tried my best to be strong for my younger sister and brother.

I became an aunt. I was at the hospital when my beautiful niece, Alannah was born. It was the happiest day of my life so far.

I started taking a developmental psychology online class at Schoolcraft.

I start my Master's in Social Work program.

I can't believe that my daughter is getting married. She grew up so fast.
