    My great grandmother died, and at the funeral I remember a lot of people were crying. I didn't know her well, since she lived out in Poland, but I still remember it was a very sad moment.

    Spoke my first word, daj (pronounced die). Which means give in Slovakian. I would always mix up my english words with my Polish and Slovakian words, since all three of those languages were spoken around me.

    I took my first steps, which didn't take too long for me to get since I had an older sister help me on growing up and learning the mojo of being a baby/toddler.

    My little sister was born, I remember holding her for the first time and right when I gave her back to my dad she pooped on him. It was a very funny moment, but I'm glad to say that me and her are now the best of friends.

    I learned my favorite song in preschool, "Apple's and Banana's" (I like to eat, eat, eat, apple's and banana's). And I remember I would not stop singing it for months

    Met my first best friend, Ariel, in preschool and we are still best friends today. It feels nice to have a life long friend, not many people do.

    Moved from my hometown of Westland to Canton and was so upset about it because I left all my friends back in Westland.

    I had my first ballet show where I dressed up as Jasmine from Aladdin since our song was from that movie. And in my class, was my best friend that I have known since we were babies, since our moms were best friends.

    I started to speak full sentences, but I would mix up English with Slovakian and Polish. Being bi-lingual I believe slowed down my process of speaking in full sentences.

    My mom had my younger brother, which was my first brother! And then six years later, my mom had another boy. Both of my brothers made me miss having only sisters to be honest, but I still love them.

    I finally learned how to ride a two-wheeled bike, and by my loving aunt. My parents were always busy with work, so I'm glad I even learned from my aunt. So thankful for her and for what she has done for me and my family.

    One of my photos from an art class in elementary school got into an art show and from that, I won $100. It made me believe I wanted to be an artist since I was pretty good at it.

    Learned how to drive, but it took me a few years to actually get my license since I was such a bad driver and couldn't get the hang of it at all. Actually had about four accidents, and only had my permit at the time of all of them.

    I got engaged to my highschool sweetheart of five years. It was out of no where, we were just lying in his bed watching a movie when he paused it to ask me right then and there.

    I graduated from Canton High School, excited to make my way to college and start my adult life. Also glad I won't have to see the immature kids anymore.

    I realized I was not as interested as I thought I was, in the Physician Assistant program after a year into the schooling for it; the PA program just isn't for me.

    Finished the Therapeutic Recreational program at Eastern Michigan University, and I had a ton of fun while attending the program and obtaining my Master's Degree in the field.

    I got married to my highschool sweetheart, Nick. And I cannot wait to start my life and a family with the man I love with all of my heart.

    Today at the hospital where I work, I met a man who has been an addicted to heroin for overf 40 years. Working with him and hearing his life story reminded me of my older sister and how she has also been addicted to heroin for many years. His story really hit hard with me.

    My little sister had her first child! Since I cannot have any children due to my body, holding my very first neice was just a miracle. I always have loved children, a shame I can't have one of my own though.

    My mother died from a heart attack, she has always has high blood pressure from all the stress in her life. It's so sad knowing she is gone; she was my best friend.

    Diagnosed with colon cancer, I knew with my love for meats would have some affect on me, I just didn't know how serious it would have been.

    My husband died from old age, the most heart breaking thing I have had to deal with even with all the troubled times I've had to go through in my life. Loosing my other half, was really hard.
