    I born at 2:32am. I weighed 8lbs 11oz.
  • First Two Years - Biosocial

    First Two Years - Biosocial
    I had blonde hair and brown eyes with light skin. I had lighter features than my sibling and looked different than them. I was a healthy child with normal developments.
  • First Two Years - Cognitive

    I was a smart lively child. I learned quickly from my siblings to walk.
  • First Two Years - Psychosocial

    My second oldest brother was born a three years than me at home with me. My sister was in second and my other older brother was in first grade. My mother was home with my brother and me. My mother told us many stories and used to sing to us.

    I was a healthy child but I broke my collar bone at the age of five.

    I enjoyed reading books. I remember being in enrolled in a head start program.

    My mother had an authoritarian parenting style. We were spanked and had soap put in our mouths. I had a best friend named Amira that lived a house down from me and we were inseparable until I moved away before first grade. I then inherited another best friend named Susan who lived down the street.

    I excelled in athletics in school, winning awards quite often during the field day games and races against other students.

    I was always a good student. I loved reading and science the most. My least favorite subject was math. I loved to write stories. I was recognized as a super speller and a student of the month.

    I had a set group of girlfriends all through school. My activities that I use to play with my brother became to change as I began to become more interested in playing with Barbie dolls with my friends.
  • Emerging Adulthood - Cognitive

    On February 24th of my grandmother passed away. I got very depressed. I was trying to balance too many things at once.

    During this stage of adolescence I was pretty much average with all the other girls in my class. The only thing was that I was a little bit shorter than most girls. I started puberty about the same time as most girls in my class. I was pretty skinny. Besides my height, I was pretty average. I never did drugs or alcohol during this time
  • Emerging Adulthood - Biosocial

    During this time I attended Wayne State University. My first year of college was challenging. It was hard to balance school full-time, friends, and work. I remember the first day of class I called my brother and cried because I got lost Downtown.

    I cared about my appearance and always liked to be ready for school. When I got to high school I played soccer and track. I was a good student. I always had my homework done and showed up to class. I mostly got A's and some B's. My parents were very proud of me.

    I have always gotten along with my parents. I consider them to be my friends. They are always there for me and support me in everything I do. In the 9th grade I got my first serious boyfriend. They did not like him and things got bad.

    I have been working two jobs at a doctor’s office and a phone company and I am miserable. I decide to find a new job and move out on my own out of State.

    Both sides of my family tend to live long lives. When my parents pass it will be the most extremely devastating thing to me. My brother will be my rock and will help me through this hard time in my life. My friends are also amazing and are always there for me.

    By the time I am 35 I hope to be graduated from nursing school and working as a nurse I enjoy and love helping people. I also hope to move and to San Diego California with my two children at this time.

    With my master’s degree, and my evening position at a top University I make quite a living. My children are well provided for and have a comfy life. They will go to public schools and hopefully have a trust fund set up for them. I hope they get involved with sports or school clubs.

    My profession has become harder and harder for me so I retired. I exercise every day to keep moving, and am now more involved with my grandchildren’s activities.

    I am now 65 years old. I have two children, and four grandchildren. At the age of 60 I got a hysterectomy and a bladder suspension. Other than that my health is great.

    My health is not what it used to be. It is starting to deteriorate. I have been diagnosed with cancer. The prognosis is not good.
  • Epilogue

    • January 21 2063 Epilogue- Death and Dying the day of my death. At the age of 80 I died in my sleep peacefully. I am survived by my wonderful two children, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. I am remembered for my work as a nurse and for my volunteer work in the community.
