  • Grade Eight Graduation Awards

    Grade Eight Graduation Awards
At the Grade 8 graduation I received three awards. They were the english award, the science award and honour roll. I was very proud of these awards because it was a class of 80 students and there were only 4 students that receieved three awards. I also just moved there in grade 8 so none of the teachers knew my work ethic and academic strengths. Many students didn't get any awards so I was very blessed to receive three.
  • Created Starter Resume

My parents helped me create a simple resume with all my accomplishments and awards that I had when I started Grade 9. Throughout the year I have updated it but it still has the same structure as it did September of 2012 resume
  • Completed All Manditory Volunteer Hours

    Completed All Manditory Volunteer Hours
My goal was to complete 40 volunteer hours before I entered Grade 10. My thought was that Grade 9 is the lightest high school year for homework and difficult classes. If I got a few hours a month by the time I started Grade 10, I would be almost finished them all. I go to a church and volunteer in nursery and Jr. Church 3 times a month. It was fairly easy to get hours without much thought or changing my schedule. Now that I have them all finished, it is such a relief to be finished them all.
  • Job Interview

    Job Interview
How To Prepare For A Job Interview I have applyed for multiple jobs but have never gotten a call or email from the business. This has been discouraging but I am still pushing through and constantly looking for a job. I think it is a reasonable goal to have a job interview by the end of Grade 10. Hopefully the interview would lead to a summer job which is necessary to start saving for university.
  • High School Graduation

    High School Graduation
Ontario Secondary School DiplomaIn June of 2016, I am hoping to graduate from Parkside Collegiate with all my friends and teachers I would have spent the last four years with. I would like to graduate with honours and being at the top of my class. By the time I graduate I would like to know exactly what I want to do after and what career path I want to take. At graduation I want to have a very good idea of my future and have a general timeline for the next decade. <a href='http://http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ontario_Second
  • Move Out of My Parents House

Move Out of My Parents House
One of my goals as a child and student is to be independant and have a stable life. This would include moving out of my parents house when I enter post-secondary. I would still live with my parents if I went to school in Londan but that isn't my plan. Living alone teaches a person a lot about themselves and really highlights their strengths and weaknesses. I love people in my life but I need to be able to be self-suffient.
  • Start Of Post-Secondary

    Start Of Post-Secondary
List Of Colleges In Ontario ORList Of Universities In Ontario
My current plan is to start post-secondary right after high school because if I take a year off I won't want to go back to school & won't have the same work ethic as before. I will change this goal if I have no career plam by graduation. I am not spending $20 000 to say I'm going to post-secondary if I have no career path because it will just be a waste of money & time. If that is the case I will spend a year working to save up & find what I want to do.
  • Rent My First Apartment

    Rent My First Apartment
    Apartment Checklist
In my first year of post-secondary, I would like to rent my first apartment. I would like this rather than living on campus to avoid parties and campus drama. I think living in my own apartment would halp me focus more on my school than the social aspect of it all. It would make be be more responsible with my money and time.
  • Buy My First Car

    Buy My First Car
What To Look For When Buying A Car
I don't have a specific time that I want to buy a car but it all depends on my financial situation and my living location in relation to my school. In a car, I would look for it to be a good price, fuel efficient and good mileage. I also want a good mechanic to look at the car before I invest in the purchase. I would also be a good 20th birthday present.
  • Completion Of Post-Secondary

    Completion Of Post-Secondary
Depending on the degree I am going for or the program I am in I would like to be done post-secondary 6 years after I start. I don't want to be in school forever and I think six years gives me enough time to do what I want.
  • Wedding

    Wedding
    Wedding Checklist
For me to get married I would like to be out of post-secondary school. I also need a man who compliments me and my personality. He must also be a Christian, very athletic and love me unconditionallty. I would want to get married in a church and have my dad walk me down the aisle and also be the pastor who marry's us. I also want Buddy from Cake Boss to make my wedding cake because I love the show and his cakes.

What To Look For In A Guy
When I start dating it wilI be to find a man to spend the rest of my life with. I plan to be married once & with someone I will love unconditionally. I would not want to get married before I finished my post-secondary schooling. Once I got married I would like to wait at least 2 years before we started having kids. These 2 years would be spent travelling.
  • Start Of Career

    Start Of Career
I would like to start my career as late as six months after I finish my post-secondary education. I would take any job thrown at me that has something to do with the program I took at post-secondary because to get to the top, you have to start at the bottom. I think I would be realistic when it comes to work ethic, pay checks and job titles. I also think knowing people is helpful in the working world, so i would invest time into getting to know important people.
  • Buy My First House

    My Dream House
After I get married I would want to buy my first house with my husband. It would be a way to combine our lives nicely. In a house I would want 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open concept and close to work. It would be ideal to be in a safe community with lots of trees and parks.

The summer after I get married, I want to take a big vacation with my husband and backpack across europe. My aunt did it in 3 months with her best friend and I want to do the same. I have always wanted to backpack across a country, so why not with my husband/bestfriend. It will make our relationship stronger while we are making amazing memories.

How I would like to get a job advancement within my first two years. If I continue to be determine and have good work ethic, my hard work won't go unnotiticed. I won't except to get bumped right to the top of the company, but I would like to gain seniority and therefore slowly move up. This would include more responsibilities, a better pay check and more trust
