    Prenatal Development

    I don't remember anything from this period but I assume that everything went well. Thanks to my mother that she kept me and herself healthy during her pregnancy. She didn't take any medication during the entire 9 months to make sure no drugs can interrupt my growth in unexpected ways.

    I was born in ِAlalwayia Hospital in Baghdad, Iraq with a relativly good health with no complications.

    First two years -Biosocial

    I grow with good health, I was breast fed and I got all the required immunizations on the recommended schedule. Didn't suffer from major illneses.

    First two years - Cognitive development

    I started to learn my first language and my first word was mama. Offcourse I learned mama first because i always got rewarded with food when i cry for mama. trust me on this, you have to learn mama first to get delicious stuff.

    I was attached to my mother. may be because she was the source of food and security.
    According to my parents, i was calm and quit all the time but always active.

    Early childhood - Cognitive development

    My language skills were just above average. I learned also to understand my parents second native language called chaldean but i never spoke it.

    I liked to play with small objects such as cars and lego.
    I only played with other boys. I don't remeber playing with girls before school age. May be it is a cltural thing.
    My relationship with my parents were more through my mother.
    I never hurt other kids except with one or two times that i was trying to hit a friend of mine.

    I didn't suffer from any malnutriton or significant healh problems in general.
    The only thing that i can remeber in this time span was that i liked to draw houses with a window and a door, trees, grass and a yellow sun. I am a right handed person but i always kicked footballs with my left foot. go figure!

    A new memeber was added to our small family. My sister was born.

    I was blessed with good health and no major health problems.
    my parents provided food and shelter. Normal growth.

    I did very good in school. I was always one of the top 3 students in my class.

    I liked religious faith and thinking byond this universe. Faith guided my parents to teach me about moral values.
    I had few friends but I enjoyed times alone as much as with others

    Adolescence - Psychosocial Development

    I had to figure out my four identities the hard way. trial and error approach. By the end of adolescence I was finally ok with a clear identity. my relationship with adults were very healthy and helped me to gain much of my self-esteem to be able to relieve some of peer pressure to make the right decissions most of the time. Sports, though, helped me to release all kinds of pressures and frustrations. Never done any drugs. No alcohol. No smoking.

    Puberty and identifying who I am physically was a big challenge.
    Playing sports in middle and high school gave me a huge boost physically and emotionally.
    Sexual maturity was very gradual with no sexual activity because of cultural and moral influence

    I love math. I loved computer programing. I dreamed of, literally, coding video games when i was 14 years old. Studying physics and chemistry where my fun time. I had much more trouble with studying history, geography and language. But I loved learning. i was one of the top 50 students in the entire country

    emerging adulthood - Biosocial Development

    I spent this time in college. I was in medical school for 6 years.
    Physically getting stronger and more fit. played college soccer and basketball. I was average, may be slightly below average in basketball. No smoking, No drugs. Started to drink some alcohol but on occasions. Didn't have any major health problems.

    I chose medical school over computer science. I enjoyed learning in both directions.
    Curiosity about faith, the univers and creation lead me into reading more about faith, and witchcraft. to the point of trying to communicate with spirits to predict the future!!!!!

    I had a healthy level of self-esteem. Mature identity and ready for the practicle world and to start having financial independance.

    physical decline late thrities. Body can not follow exactly what the heart wants. Over eating!! weight gain!! marriage happens.

    leaving my country led me to switch my career to by an IT. still learning. finally chose to go back to medicine through PA school

    Marriage, switching my career from medicine to IT to medicine back again, life stress. immigration to US with financial stress. hopefully everything will be fine for my late adulthood
  • First job in USA

    I switched my carrer from the medical field to the IT field. Web design and software programing. My first job was to build a website and ecommerce solution for a small business company for two years.
  • Back to the health field

    I went back to medical field as a medical asistant
  • psychology class final day

    The last day of psychology class. A prerequisite for my application for PA school

    Late Adulthood - Biosocial Development

    Keeping myself healthy will be a priority. High blood pressure, arthritis will be my biggest two chalenges. I don't have expectation to live beyond mid to late eighties. The year 2057 is my calculated year of departure from this world (my expected age)

    Late Adulthood - Cognitive Development

    Brain slowdown is just part of aging, Multitasking, memory and brain activity could get affected. Dementia and alzheimer diseases are two possibilities that could affect aging in negative way

    Late Adulthood - Psychosocial Development

    Self appreciation, integrity and holding a positive attitude is how i imagine my self in late adulthood. Transfering my experiance to new generations is a satisfying goal for me.

    I may live longer or shorter but i know i will enjoy almost everything the good and the bad.
